Built from a problem
nobody wanted to solve.

I didn't set out to build software. I set out to fix something I kept watching people struggle with.

In the places I worked, I saw teams spending hours — entire shifts — counting stock by hand. Writing numbers on clipboards. Cross-referencing spreadsheets. Getting tired halfway through, losing focus, making errors. The work was endless and repetitive, and the people doing it deserved better.

So I built something scrappy first. A Google Sheets system paired with a barcode scanner. No app, no investment — just a workflow that actually made sense. It worked. A team of 6 became a team of 3. The same volume of work got done in a quarter of the time.

That proved to me the problem was real. And completely solvable.

The insight nobody in this industry talks about: most businesses respond to this problem by hiring more people. They don't question the process — they add bodies to it. Inventory management is too unglamorous to fix, too hidden inside stockrooms for anyone to notice. So it stays broken.

I built Anantik to be the system I wish had existed. Real-time stock visibility across every location. Barcode scanning on your phone. Invoicing that handles the compliance so you don't have to. Warehouse transfers that don't slip through the cracks.

This is a problem that exists in every stockroom, in every country. We're starting in India — but stock doesn't count itself anywhere in the world. This is just the beginning.
