This Privacy Policy describes how Anantik (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit anantik.com or use our mobile application. 1. What information do we collect?

Account and business information

When you sign up for Anantik, we collect information you provide directly, including:

• Name, email address, and password
• Company name, industry, and business address
• GST number and billing details

Business data you enter into the platform

As you use Anantik, you input business records that we store and process on your behalf:

• Product catalog, SKUs, pricing, and stock quantities
• Inventory history and stock transfer records
• Invoice data including customer names, phone numbers, GST numbers, and transaction amounts
• Store and warehouse locations and team member details

Device and usage information

We automatically collect certain technical information when you use our app or website:

• Device identifiers and push notification tokens (for in-app alerts)
• Crash reports and error logs (via Sentry)
• App version and operating system

Device permissions

The Anantik mobile app requests the following device permissions:

• Camera — used for barcode scanning to identify and update inventory items. No images are stored.
• Push notifications — used to alert you about stock transfers, manifests, and team activity. You can disable this at any time from device settings.

We do not process sensitive personal information (e.g. biometrics, health data, financial account credentials). All information you provide must be true, complete, and accurate.

2. How do we process your information?

We process your personal information for the following reasons:

• To provide and operate the Service — to enable inventory tracking, invoicing, stock transfers, and all core platform features
• To send transactional communications — to send invoices, team invitations, account alerts, and other service-critical emails
• To send onboarding and support communications — to help you get started and make the most of your subscription
• To send marketing communications — to share product updates and news. You can opt out at any time by emailing support@anantik.com.
• To monitor and improve reliability — to detect errors, prevent abuse, and improve platform performance using anonymised data

3. When and with whom do we share your information?

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the following categories of service providers who help us operate the platform:

• Supabase Inc. — database, authentication, file storage, and backend infrastructure
• Google Firebase — push notification delivery to iOS and Android devices
• Resend Inc. — transactional and onboarding email delivery
• Razorpay — payment processing for subscription fees
• Sentry — crash reporting and error monitoring
• Vercel — hosting for the marketing website (anantik.com)

Each provider is bound by its own privacy and data processing agreements. We may also share information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety and rights of our users.

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of Anantik, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you by email if such a transfer occurs.

4. Do we use cookies?

We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain basic site functions and security. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some site functionality.

5. How long do we keep your information?

We keep your account and business data for the duration of your subscription and for 30 days after termination, during which you may request a data export. After 30 days, your data is permanently deleted from our systems unless retention is required by applicable law (e.g. GST records under Indian tax law may be retained for up to 8 years).

Crash logs and error reports are retained for 90 days and then automatically purged.

6. How do we keep your information safe?

We have implemented appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal information, including HTTPS encryption on all data transmission. However, no electronic transmission over the internet is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Do we collect information from minors?

We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age. If you become aware that a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@anantik.com and we will take steps to delete it.

8. What are your privacy rights?

You have the right to review, update, or delete your personal information at any time. You can also withdraw your consent to marketing communications by emailing us or using the unsubscribe link in any email we send.

9. India — Digital Personal Data Protection Act

Anantik is an Indian company and complies with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) and the rules issued thereunder. In the context of the DPDP Act:

• Where you are an individual user, Anantik acts as a Data Fiduciary with respect to your personal data.
• Where you are a business customer and the personal data belongs to your end customers or staff, you are the Data Fiduciary and Anantik acts as a Data Processor.
• You have the right to access, correct, and erase your personal data. To exercise these rights, email support@anantik.com.
• We will notify you of any personal data breach affecting your data within 72 hours of becoming aware of it.

10. Controls for Do-Not-Track features

Most web browsers include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) setting. We do not currently respond to DNT signals as no uniform standard has been finalised. If a standard is adopted in the future, we will update this policy accordingly.

11. Do we make updates to this policy?

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated date at the top. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on our website.
